No. Bergen 1st Saturday MONTHLY Flea & Collectible Market

 JC will be going back to the Bergenline Ave Flea Market in North Bergen, NJ.  This flea market began a few years ago and has since become a popular event for vendors and the community. Held along one of the area’s busiest streets, Bergenline Ave., the marketplace offers high visibility. This event will feature vendors selling new items, crafts & collectibles (new, sports & vintage).

You will not find garage sale vendors here. If you like shopping at vendors who sell 2nd-hand, garage sale, and clean-out items, you’ll have to visit any of the other flea markets JC runs. The township has asked us to bring in more upscale merchandise, so we asked the 2nd-handers to go to our other markets. We’ll miss them, but we must comply with the rules.

This event is open to the public from 9-4 pm and will be canceled due to rain or inclement weather. Check out JC’s event calendar for all the weekend events we produce.

EVENT DATES:
JC plans to run this event on the 1st & 3rd Saturdays of each month throughout the year. 

FUNDRAISER:
Hosted by the NB Community Police, proceeds are donated to Local Organizations. Come out and support this worthy event.

VENDOR INFO:
SET UP LOCATION & TIME
Set up is between 6 am and 8 am. Open to the public 9-4 pm.

Vendor check-in is in the park. Enter the park through the entrance on Bergenline Ave. & JFK Blvd. There’s a Delta gas station across the street from the park entrance.  The address for the Delta Gas Station is 9280 John F. Kennedy Blvd, North Bergen, NJ 07047.

Prepaid Vendors: get in this line to check in. It’s fast, and once you check in, you’ll go straight to your space.

Unpaid Vendors: get in the unreserved line to check in and pay. When you arrive, you will see vendor (without reservations) waiting for their turn to get a space. 
Note: During the nice weather, there is no guarantee that you’ll get a space unless you are reserved and prepaid. This is on a first-come, first-served basis for unpaid vendors. This is a very popular market, and sometimes we have to turn away vendors when we run out of space.

Car & Van Pricing:
Prepaid Vendors: $75- 10’x15′ space for a car or van (paying by the month saves you $20, plus there is no wait to get in, and we try to give you a steady space).

Non-Paid Vendors: $85- 10’x15′ space for a car or van (cash only the day of the show)

Box Trucks: Smaller box trucks are acceptable (10′ x 16′). Vendors park behind their booths in angled spaces along the curb. Any vehicles larger than 16’ will stick out into the traffic, so we cannot accept these large trucks.

Business/Promotional/Corporate
$100-10’x15′ space (cash only the day of the show)
(In this category of vendor, you are allowed to collect customer contact info)

Eligible vendors
Eligible Vendors- New Merchandise, Vintage & Collectibles & Arts & Crafts. No garage sale. No clean outs. Vendors selling 2nd-hand items, garage sale items, and items from clean-outs are permitted at most other JC flea markets. JC was asked by the town not to have these types of sales at the event, in an effort to make the flea look more upmarket.

Clear Your Space
No garbage or leftover merchandise may be left behind at the market. Take ALL your items, boxes, and discarded items with you. Remember, if you leave it, then JC has to deal with it. You will not be allowed to return to JC’s markets if you do not comply with this policy.

Be off the street by
JC has a permit to run this event from 5:30 am to 5:30 pm. All vehicles and booth set-ups must be off the premises by 5:30 pm. There are a few vendors who do not comply with this policy and put JC at risk of causing problems with the township. If this continues, these vendors will be told not to return. Sorry… our policy must be followed.
