Kenilworth Street Fair with Classic Cars, too!

Hosted by the Borough of Kenilworth the Boulevard will be closed to vehicle traffic from 14th St. to 24th St. and transformed into a giant block party from 10 am-4:00 pm ( a bit earlier closing than our other street fairs so come early).

This event will feature quality exhibitors, a special crafter’s section, lots of great food, kiddie rides, and kids area, live music and performances, and local merchants & civic organizations.

SHOPPING
Shop til you drop along the Boulevard with over 100 quality exhibitors selling their merchandise such as jewelry, handbags, sports collectibles, clothing, home decor, and much more. There is a special section with handmade crafts from local and nearby crafters and artisans with unique one-of-a-kind items.

LIVE ENTERTAINMENT
Whether on stage or under our music tents, you will enjoy the sounds of some very talented cover bands, soloists, dancers, demonstrations from the local karate & dance studios and more. It’s also a chance to kick back, take a break in the music section filled with table & chairs for your use. Once booked, the performers for this event will be listed below.

KIDS ZONE
Kids…don’t miss Terry the T-Rex. He’s a friendly 8’ dinosaur and he wants to take a picture with you between 1pm-3pm near the kids zone by 18th St. FREE!
Plus lots of fun stuff in the kid’s zone area all day, where the children will enjoy this section filled with kiddie bounce rides, slides, and interactive blow-ups, face painters, sand art & kids games, temporary tattoos, and face painting, just to name a few things.

FOOD TRUCKS
As you stroll along the Blvd stop to have a bite to eat and sit at tables in our live music area. Come hungry and enjoy eating carnival food favorites like a sausage & pepper sandwich, cheesesteaks, kettle corn, chicken fingers, ice cream, zeppole, shish kabobs, gyros, fresh-cut fries, fresh-squeezed lemonade, Italian ice, and the many great gourmet foods from the food trucks.

CAR SHOW
This year’s event will again feature a car show of Custom…Classic…Street Rod…Muscle Cars in front of Harding School (Enter from Boulevard & North 14th St./use 426 Boulevard in your GPS). Set up starts after 10 am. Registration  – Day of Show.  Cars must be registered by 1:00 PM to be judged. Trophies for Winners! LOCAL SENIORS ARTS & CRAFT SHOW
At this street fair, local seniors (Age 60 or older) will have an opportunity to show and/or sell their artwork, crafts and photographs during a Kenilworth Senior Arts, Crafts and Photography Show that will take place at the newly renovated Kenilworth Senior Center (526 Boulevard) on Sunday, May 19. The event, a major highlight of the center’s planned Grand Reopening celebration, coincides with the timing of the Kenilworth Street Fair. Exhibit space in the show will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Interested participants should register by May 8. Registration forms will be available at the Kenilworth Senior Center, Kenilworth Public Library, Love You More floral boutique (13 N. 20 th Street), Borough Clerk’s office and on the Borough website ( www.kenilworthborough.com ). DEMONSTRATIONS
Karate World
This will be our 30th year performing on the boulevard! Karate world has been a staple  of the community sense 1991. We are the producer of world champions, top class, instructors, and school owners.
Performance location:  front of the stage on the Boulevard & 21st St. 
Performance time: 1:30pm (this is an approximate time)

Twin Kicks
Twin Kicks Karate located in Kenilworth, NJ owned and operated by twin brothers Bryan J Panizza and Jean Paul Panizza both residents in town. The school specializes in martial arts instruction for individuals of all ages. Our goals are to teach and inspire others to gain confidence through martial arts. The school’s programs consist of mighty mights for 3 1/2 to 7 and tae kwon do for 7 and above. In addition our instructors teach weapons, gymnastics, and a dedicated sparring class. The school hosts birthday parties and private events for organizations like Boy Scouts and Girls Scout to earn badges. Lastly Twin Kicks Karate has an elite national competition team that travels the East Coast participating in competitions all year round. Regardless of age and experience Twin Kicks Karate has something to offer for everyone.
