JC’s Flea at the Wallisch Homestead Grounds…just added!

Hi, Cissy here…I wanted to share some exciting news about a new event location we recently used: the beautiful grounds of the Wallisch Homestead. This stunning 99-acre historic farm in West Milford, Passaic County, is a true gem. As a former dairy farm with a rich history, it offers a glimpse into the community’s agricultural and cultural past. The Homestead features a main house from the 1880s, along with a stone barn and creamery dating back to the early 1900s. It also boasts a lovely three-acre environmental walking trail that runs alongside Belcher’s Creek, eventually flowing into Greenwood Lake, and offers picturesque views of Bearfort Mountain.
Owned by the Township of West Milford and the West Milford Board of Education, this public space is becoming a popular venue for various events. The property is managed by the Friends of Wallisch Homestead, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and adaptively reusing the Homestead’s buildings and grounds.
West Milford is conveniently located near several other towns, including Ringwood, Bloomingdale, Butler, Jefferson Township, Kinnelon, Rockaway Township, Hardyston Township, Vernon Township, and Warwick, NY.
JC Promotions recently hosted a Vintage & Antique Fair at the Wallisch Homestead. Despite the less-than-ideal weather, we considered it a successful first show. We were pleased to welcome many attendees from the local community, as well as our regular customers.
Building on the success of our first fair here, JC Promotions has long-term plans to host a monthly market at the Wallisch Homestead. We envision a diverse array of vendors offering new items, arts and crafts, antiques and collectibles, vintage goods, furniture, sports memorabilia, gently used items, and much more. In addition to the shopping, we’ll have food vendors on-site and some light music to create a relaxing atmosphere. We encourage you to bring your lawn chairs and enjoy the lovely grounds.
We genuinely appreciate your continued support as vendors and customers at our events across various communities over the years. We hope you will join us in this new and exciting marketplace at the Wallisch Homestead! More details about our monthly market will be coming soon.

Vendor Info: The fee for flea items, arts & crafts, vintage, etc.
Vendor space is 20′ x 24′ (this is enough room for your van or car to fit into plus space for 2 pop up tents). Fee is $55. Reservations are not required. You can just show up for a space. Vendor set up is between 6:30am-8am.
Business/ Vendor Info: This type of vendor is at the market to promote their products or service, collect leads but not necessarily to sell items like other flea vendors. Fee is $100. Reservations are not required.
Note: In the future, this event may be by reservation and you will be able to create a steady spot. This first event held here is first come, first served.
