Riverdale’s Annual Labor Day Street Fair
Riverdale’s Annual Labor Day Street Fair hosted by the Borough of Riverdale will be held along the Newark Pompton Turnpike from Newbury Place to Cotluss Rd. from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. This annual event is held on Labor Day Monday. The street will be closed to vehicle traffic during the event and will be transformed into a giant block party. If you like shopping outdoors then this is the place to be.
Lots To Do
We have quality exhibitors selling a selection of assorted items, a special arts & crafts section, live entertainment, kiddie rides & games, great festival foods & food trucks, and so much more. Don’t miss stopping by the many local merchants & civic organizations to see what goodies they are passing out.
So Many Food Trucks
Come hungry because we have over 15 food trucks and food vendors selling delicious sweet and savory gourmet foods. You can get sausage & pepper sandwich, cheese steaks, kettle corn, chicken fingers, ice cream, zeppole, shish kabobs, gyros, fresh cut fries, fresh squeezed lemonade, Italian ice, oven-baked fresh pizza, and so much more. The list of food vendors attending will be listed below, a they reserve space at the event.
Live Bands
As you stroll along stop to have a bite to eat and sit at tables in our live music area. See the show we have planned with live music, dancing, karate demonstrations, and more. Also below will be the entertainment line up once we book it.
Kids Area
We also have The “Kidz Traveling Shindig” which is a section in the school parking lot area dedicated to children with kiddie bounce rides, slides, interactive blow-ups, face painters, sand art & kids’ games just to name a few things.
This family-friendly event brings the whole community together. Come and join in the fun on Labor Day!
Vendors Space Pricing-Application Information & Pricing:
Crafters Corner: space size | 12’ x 10’ | $140 this area is strictly for artisans and craftspeople. No retail or buy and sell is allowed here.
Retail Vendor Area: space size | 12′ x 10′ | $175 this area is for vendors selling other items besides arts & crafts and business promotional.
Local Organizations (From Riverdale) Please call our office number below for pricing & info
Non-Local Organization: space size | 12′ x 10′ | $100. Your booth will be in the same location as other exhibitors
Business/Promotional: space size | 12’ x 10′ | $375 | this section is limited to how many promotional companies we accept into each event. Your space will be among the other vendors and not altogether. You are permitted to gather information from attendees, demonstrate, promote, give away promotional items, etc.
Food Vendors: $200-$275 / If you are a “new” vendor to JC’s events and are interested in participating please send a request to: foodservice@jcpromotions.info along with your menu and pictures of your truck or call the office for availability.
